We are the Solar Vehicle Team at the University of Washington, designing and building a solar-powered car to compete in the 2026 American Solar Challenge.

This competition, 1500-2000 miles across the country, will put our engineering skills and solar technology to the ultimate test as we push the boundaries of sustainable transportation.

The Executive Board leads the University of Washington Solar Vehicle Team in our mission to design, build, and race solar-powered cars. Representing disciplines from engineering to business, our board members oversee team operations, project development, sponsorship, outreach, and competition strategy. Together, we drive innovation and sustainability forward.
